Tasting Notes: The nose starts with lots of toasted sugar and vanilla frosting. Even on the nose it's nowhere close to revealing its proof point. As it opens up there are some soft cherry, orange peel and a side of Cracker Barrel stewed apples. The first sip is a nice revisit of the notes from the nose. Caramel, Funfetti cupcakes and hot honey all start to mingle. Baking spice and golden raisin notes shift to cedar, dried orange peel, and toasted coconut on the finish. The finish is long with the heat finally starting to peak through. Roasted almonds linger with dried apricot and clove. Our goal was to showcase some of the more nuanced barrels for the PRO blend. The final product showcases lots of fruit and spice notes rarely found in light whiskey. This makes for an incredible tasting experience!
